To make the future a reality, to achieve what scientific innovation makes possible by melding meticulous engineering with a sense of practicality and the flexibility of skilled craftsmanship.
This has been, and will always be, our challenge.
When telecommunications technology gave us a glimpse of the incredible possibilities mobile telephony had made available, the technicians at Emicom were already working to define the technical specifications for the first GSM site of what was then the fledgling Omnitel Pronto Italia.
Since then our work has been a steady, frenzied, exciting race against time to create that freedom of communication that today we take for granted and make it available to all.
We have created more than 3,870 MSC-BSC-BTS stations, installed more than 2000 trailer-mounted radio base stations and approximately 11,000 shelters and cabinets.
We have produced nearly 20,000 air conditioning systems and more than 32,000 electrical panels, and we now manage more than 20,000 telecommunications sites, approximately half of all the radio base stations installed in Italy.
Each solution has been expressly developed to meet our customers' specific demands for innovation, reliability and performance. As we have optimized these solutions we have built up a catalogue that can meet the widest variety of needs advanced by the operators.
